About Us – Hot Springs Beauty College

We are a locally-owned, boutique school. We have been in Hot Springs training the best professionals since 1984.

We love this school, we love what we do here, we take such pride in the education that we provide and we are so thrilled that you are reading About Us and are considering a career in the beauty industry.

Our goal for this school is that you are PREPARED for work. We don’t teach state board minimums, we teach what you really need to know to start working the day you finish school. We want you to LEARN & to BE HAPPY!

Andrea Causey, Owner

I have been leading this school for 16-years. I am a licensed Instructor, Cosmetologist & Esthetician. I received my Esthetics license at 17 years old & hold a CIDESCO diploma for Esthetics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Masters in Adult Education from U of A & MBA from Chapman University in Orange, California. I am a local girl and went to Lakeside before leaving to pursue my California dreams.

You will meet me in Admissions & I do all financial aid, teach some classes, whatever needs to happen to make this a happy place.

Jessie, Lead Instructor

-She has been here for 12 years

Hillary, Instructor

– Licensed Cosmetologist, Instructor & Permanant Cosmetics Artist (PMU).

– Hillary is the most amazing, dedicated Freshman instructor. She is kind and artful in her feedback to help you grow your talent.

– Her talent reaches far and wide, but really blows our mind with her cutting, especially short hair!

-Hillary is our social media master, if you have seen our TikTok, Reels, or any social media posts, that is all Hillary’s magnificent creativity.

Jessica, Instructor

Jessica is the newest to our team and has come in full force, working in all aspects of the school. She is working to perfect all areas from freshmen training, front desk coordinating and clinic floor instructing. Jessica brings care and compassion to everyone she meets and finds fulfillment guiding students into their future best selves.

Kristin, Instructor

– A licensed Cosmetologist & Instructor & hairstylist for over 15 years and brings her professional knowledge to assist and support us all.

– Kristin is friendly and aids us all with a smile.

– She is experienced working with students in all areas.

Greg Doughty, Instructor (picture coming soon)

Greg has been with us in some capacity since 2009. He has 12 years experience behind the chair and is a master in client care. Greg brings the best energy to the school everyday and is the perfect fit to our positivity mindset. He excels in all things hair related and is an asset to our team of experienced instructors.
